Vigilance Elite recognizes, respects, and protects the personal privacy rights of all of our customers and visitors. We realize that our customers entrust us with non-public personal information and it is our obligation and policy to maintain this information in a confidential manner. We are committed to providing the highest level of privacy regarding the maintenance and use of every customer's personal information. The following Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from our website or connect with us via email (collectively the “Site”).

Personal Information Collected

We will never never sell, disclose, or share order Information with any 3rd party for any reason.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information. 

How Your Personal Information Is Used

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. 

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We only share your Personal Information with third parties that help us perform the actions described above. Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser. 

Your Rights

You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

California Privacy

California residents have the right to know and access personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold about you over the past twelve months, including the categories of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold about you; the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected; and, the business or commercial purpose for which your personal information was collected, used, disclosed, or sold; the categories of third parties with whom we have shared your personal information. California residents have the right to request that we remove your personal information under certain circumstances.

We use third party website analytics tools and work with a marketing partnership that may involve the disclosure of your personal information for “valuable consideration” as set forth in the CCPA.

California residents have the right not to be subject to discrimination for asserting their rights under the CCPA. If you make, or an authorized agent on your behalf makes, any request related to your personal information under the CCPA, Vigilance Elite will ascertain your identity (and the identity of the authorized agent, to the extent applicable) to the degree of certainty required under the law before addressing your request. Vigilance Elite may require you to match at least two or three pieces of personal information we have previously collected from you before granting you access to, or erasing, specific pieces, or categories of, personal information, or otherwise responding to your request. We may require written documentation that demonstrates a third party is authorized to serve as your agent for the purposes of submitting the requests set forth herein.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Promotional Communications

Vigilance Elite sends newsletter e-mail messages to you containing news, updates, or promotions for Vigilance Elite products or services. We will NEVER send you any communications on behalf of any third party. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, simply click the unsubscribe link that is contained in each email.

Protecting Information

Our commitment to preserving the security and confidentiality of personal information applies to our former, current, and future customers. This commitment extends to any contact that is supplied by you on the Site. We never market to, or connect with, any contact you supply unless explicitly instructed to do so by you.

Vigilance Elite uses industry standard, 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to securely transmit personal information such as your name, address and credit card number. We utilize numerous online security, encryption, hashing and site verification services and techniques to ensure the security of our website. We Do Not Sell Information

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
